Sunset in park...mmmm...love the colors over the trees.

Okay, so yesterday I decided to travel out once again into the big city. I had this though bubble come to me that said I needed a computer break, and it was sunny again. Just like my former place in the Seattle area, one must take advantage of sunny London days. I put my Nike’s on (no driver’s insurance required for these babies) and headed first to the store to purchase a new journal and pen.

Next, I headed out to the Underground subway once again. I have to admit I had no idea where I was going to get off, or let alone when. I just sat down and started to journal, until I had that knowingness to get off of the train. I came up with a brilliant idea  (well I think it is) that requires others’ help with a delicious new project. Oh, it is one of those that makes people happy, inspires joy in others, and well, stay tuned as I will be releasing it soon over my radio show, The Joy Cafe (which starts again on October 18th on Blogtalk) in the next couple weeks.

In the meantime, after 17 stops later, I decided to get off at “Holland Park” which is in Western London.  I just kept walking around looking at all the amazing shops, people, and of course went into a mall to check out the latest fashions.  I’m totally soaking up all the new stuff.  I was thinking on the train that I could do this a lot—simply get on the subway—play travel roulette—and get off the train to see what delightful places I get to explore.

Speaking of places to explore, I have a new love while I am over here, I absolutely love cafes.  I love the smell of the pastries, the look of the glossed over bright red strawberry tarts, and of course the coffees served in over sized mugs.   YUM!  I would be happy as a lark on a Spring day if I could travel around Europe simply exploring the cafes alone.  Mmmmmmmm.  Absolutely heavenly.  Especially, those cute little corner cafes that you “accidentally” run into…those are my favorites.

Anyway, back to my Holland Park exploration…  I walked into a book store (another love next to cafes) and found an adorable green glittery covered fairy journal in which I am going to use to write in all my desires/wishes/dreams.   I was inspired by this after watching a clip that Alisa had on her Facebook page.  I have included it here.  Make sure to click on it, and you’ll be brought to a link to watch the video.  See if you can watch it without tearing up (I know I couldn’t).

Inspired by Charice

Notice how this poverty stricken girl kept a notebook where she drew in her dreams of singing with Celine Dion.  I mean seriously, the odds were NOT in her favor to get this to happen, and she manifested this.  We are all powerful creative beings, and this little girl inspired me to start writing my wishes and dreams into my book.  I’ll cut out pictures, draw pictures, and place inspiring words into the book, and anytime I start to forget what I want I’ll open up my fairy book and dream again.

Everyone have their dream books handy too?
